BSI Committee minutes

This series contains agendas and minutes of the BSI Committee. Only some are signed in A.1/5-7 and none at all in A.1/11-14. The series also includes programmes for Spring, Summer and Autumn Meetings (A.1/1-8), correspondence and paperwork, such as reports and financial statements. The files also contain the draft and final minutes of other committees, and those of Business Meetings. These are incomplete and only some have been signed. As these files were compiled by various Society officers and came in two deposits, gaps and overlaps occur within the BSI Committee minutes. BSI Committee minutes which are not present in this series may be found in the BSI Committee meeting papers and correspondence (A.2). The series also contains paperwork relating to the creation of the Society, in A.1/1, and therefore begins in June 1953, before the first BSI Committee meeting in November 1956.
