About this work

Description

Correspondence and papers from Nuclear Test Coordinators/Test Ban Coordinators, who circulated information about known nuclear tests, and prompted members to lobby politicians and raise awareness of recent nuclear tests. A Rapid Response Network was established, whereby members were informed of any nuclear tests or other action. This included a telephone tree in order to alert other members about tests.

Includes correspondence concerning nuclear tests and campaign responses, as well as lobbying letters, press releases, circulars, and papers from information services providing details of nuclear tests.
