Description
The majority of the packaging materials in which the papers were received was destroyed; this sample is retained as an indication of how several generations viewed and arranged the collection. Some labels (e.g. D28) had already become detached from the item described at the time of listing.
Items when dated span 1869-1969; some are undated.
