Biographical note
The Action Group was formed in 1988 as part of the Family Planning Services Group and consisted of internal FPA staff. The main aim of the Group was to support clinics threatened by closure and to raise awareness of the clinic cuts situation amongst policy makers, professionals, consumers and the media.
