Biographical note
Following a meeting held at the FPA in July 1988 of representatives from organisations concerned with family planning clinic cuts, the FPA established a co-ordinated clinic cuts action campaign. Two groups were formed in September 1988: 'The Clinic Cuts Action Group' and the 'Clinic Cuts Think Tank'.
