About this work

Description

Two artworks by Tuberculosis Patient 12 - "Joyce." The recto shows a garden with with a trellis and trees surrounding it. Rita Simon described it as a "failed attempt by Joyce to depict a garden that would be like paradise to live in." On the verso is a painting of a waterfall descending into a lake.
