Biographical note

The School was originally started in 1929. The School moved to Edgbaston when the Queen Elizabeth Hospital opened there (c.1933) and moved again in 1968 to a purpose built building with the help of a gift of a benefactor named Mr F Morris. Originally known as United Birmingham Hospitals School of Physiotherapy, the School became took the Queen Morther's name in 1974.
