Letters from L S Penrose

Contains a letter from Penrose to J I Ek requesting the date of birth of the maternal grandmother in the case of a Down's syndrome patient reported in The Lancet, 2 September 1961; a letter from Penrose to O J Miller requesting ages of parents and normal siblings of translocated Down's syndrome patients; and a letter from Penrose to A G Steinberg regarding the pedigree figure in his paper on familial Down's syndrome (in American Journal of Human Genetics, volume 14, 1962), and whether he could send the dates of birth of all Down's syndrome patients, their parents and siblings described in the pedigree.
