Description

The Subjects series includes general subject files created and collected by James D. Watson throughout his life. The series includes obituaries of friends and colleagues written by Dr. Watson, material collected for the unpublished RNA Tie Club book, material related to his phage studies as a young scientist, and a series of reports, articles, and meeting material related to the recombinant DNA controversy of the 1970s. The series is organized into 5 subseries and are arranged chronologically.
