The Biographies and Obituaries subseries contains files on Dr. Watson’s colleagues, friends, and major Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory patrons. They include handwritten and typed manuscripts of obituaries written by Dr. Watson for publication in CSHL Annual Reports, as well as periodicals such as the New York Times. It also includes some related clippings and reference material. Scientific luminaries such as Francis Crick, Linus Pauling, and S.E. Luria are represented in these files.
