About this work

Description

The Subject Files subseries contains miscellaneous subject files (files that contain little or no correspondence). It includes a series of reports to the National Foundation of Infantile Paralysis (1952-1959). The NFIP awarded Watson a fellowship that allowed him to study in Copenhagen and Cambridge in the early 1950s. Also of note are two series of newsletters: Microbial Genetics Bulletin (1950-1954), published by Evelyn Witkin for the Carnegie Institute of Washington at Cold Spring Harbor, and the Pugwash Newsletter (Pugwash Conference on Science and World Affairs).
