Biographical note

Founded by Miss A Hogg as the private School of Massage and Medical Gymnastics which was later named the Dublin School of Physiotherapy. Sole responsibility for the School was taken up by Trinity College in 1979, with which there had been traditional links with students of the School attending lectures there, prior to which it had been the responsibility of the Federated Dublin Voluntary Hospitals and located at St James' Hospital.
