Contains numbered pages 1-30, not all of which have been used, and blank and unnumbered pages from p. 31 onwards. There are two blank and unnumbered pages at the start of the notebook, before p. 1.

The notebook is labelled on the outside 'Seed Protector'.

p. 21 and pp. 25-30 are blank.

Enclosed in the notebook are a note 'For Wheat Dressing' giving quantities (inside the front cover); and a 'Seed Protector' list of materials and quantities (fixed to p. 21).
