"Letters to Maitland Radford from Muriel Lloyd (later Radford), 1913-1917"

A series of letters from Muriel Lloyd, later Radford, to Dr Maitland Radford. The letters cover the early years of their courtship, Muriel's work at the the Royal Free Hospital and the North-Eastern Hospital during WW1, and Maitland's time with the R.A.M.C in the British Expeditionary Force. The letters also reflect Muriel's feelings for Maitland and their loving relationship.

These letters were organised into brown envelopes labelled by Ann MacEwen (1918-2008). Most envelopes had dates and some basic description of the content. They have been kept in this series and arranged along these lines.
