Only Smarties Have the Answer: Professor Oedipus Punch Puppet

Puppet featured in Aidan Shingler's production "Only Smarties Have the Answer". This puppet represents Professor Oedipus Punch, the psychiatrist who sectioned Aidan and oversees the treatment of both Aidan and Judy. He is the main antagonist of the play. He has wild grey hair and wears a pin stripe suit, glasses and a bow tie that lights up. This puppet only has one hand as there is a hole in his other suit arm in order for the puppeteer to put his hand through the slit and use it as the Professor's working hand. This was used for the character's elaborate gestures and note writing.
