Biographical note
At the end of 1984, a computerised membership database was developed; by 1985, the Membership Directory contained a brief history of the IEA; details of all International and Regional meetings, seminars, symposia and workshops; details of IEA publications; Constitution and By-Laws. The format was now arranged with members listed alphabetically and cross-referenced with an index of members' names by their country of residence and respective IEA region.
