Drawings of childbirth, Rigshospitalet, 26-27 January 1987.

A series of pencil drawings following a woman's journey through labour and childbirth. The images capture her emotions and that of her partner, plus the care given by the medical team in the maternity ward. Several drawings record the conversation of the participants, partly in Danish and partly in English. Notes accompanying the acquisition recorded that the parents were a Danish mother and Ghanese father. A photocopy included with the series shows the new born baby.
