Typed and handwritten notes, and some reprints, relating to various aspects of physiology and physiotherapy. Subjects include: examination of the moving parts of the body (including joints, back, spine and neck); routine examinations; a general approach to patient assessment before treatment is planned; manipulation and mobilisation; deep massage and manipulative techniques; and the training of medical students. Also some anatomical diagrams of the clavicle, hand and upper arm, charts of nerve root syndromes affecting the back, and extensive notes on the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive organs. Reprinted articles concerning rheumatic diseases, arthritis, neuropathy, haemophilia, hyperuricaemia and gout. Much of the material is from the Post Registration Unit, Department of Physical Medicine, Oldchurch Hospital, Romford, Essex.
