The Problem of Lung Cancer, to smoke or not to smoke

Colour film consisting of a series of images/frames intended to be presented as a lecture. The film promotes an anti-smoking campaign created in collaboration with the National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis (NAPT) and Public Health Department Croydon aimed at teenagers.

Camera Talks Ltd, also known as Camera Talks Productions, were a film production company who also produced other medical films including Hazards in Hospital, First Aid in Industry and Development of the Foetus.

The National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis was founded in the 1890s. Later changed name to Chest and Heart Association in 1959, The Chest, Heart and Stroke Association (CHSA) in 1976 and to the Stroke Association in 1992.

Wellcome holds the archive of the National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis.
