Facsimilie of a letter of thanks from William Ewart Gladstone (1809-1898), British Prime Minister, to Burroughs, Wellcome & Co. dated 1893. Whilst Prime Minister, Gladstone was presented with a medicine chest fitted with tabloids" of compressed drugs by about 250 employees of Burroughs, Wellcome & Co., London.
