Application to support "Placental amino acid metabolism during gestation" by Professor Maureen Young, October 1977;

Application to support "Placental amino acid metabolism during gestation; a comparison of experimental models" by Professor Maureen Young, August 1979;

Application to support the employment of Michael Carroll, October 1979;

Application to support "In vitro and in vivo placental permeability in pig" by Professor Robert Boyd and W.M.O. Moore, St Mary's Hospital, Manchester, March 1981 (related grant applications were made by Professor Boyd to the organisation Birthright in 1978 and 1982);

Application to support "The temporal relationship of blood levels of acid metabolites to the redox state of neonatal tissues during asphyxia and recovery" by Dr Rodney Rivers, Professor Maureen Young and Miss Fiona Egan, August 1983. (Funding was also applied for from Action Research for the Crippled Child and North West Thames Regional Health Authority.)
