A. formerly of Magdalen College, Oxford, And Prebendary in the Church of Balisbury; And now revised, corrected and improved, with many necessary additional Articles relating to the Acts and Monuments of the Church, not to be found in any other Publication of this Sort, and written in a clear intelligible Stile, free from that Obscurity of Language, and Tediousness of Diction, as well as that impertect Brevity and Coheiseness, which have been so much complained of in former Works of this kind. A catalogue of scarce and valuable books in most languages, and all parts of learning, being the libraries of a late learned and eminent Prelate of the church, and a certain Member of Parliament lately deceas'd, as also the best part of the late Dr. Archer's Archdeacon of Wells. Amongst which are, the scarcest and best editions of almost all the Greek and Roman historians, andiquaries, philosphers, mathematicians and poets: the fathers, councils, annalists, law, civil and ecclesiastick, rites, ceremonies, history and antiquity of the churches of all nations, with many polemical theological commentators, lexicographers &c.
