Brought from his seat at Stanstead in Essex, To which, by permission, are added the valuable collection of His Excellency M[o]ns. Cavalli, late minister from Venice, consisting of the works of the following great masters in fine preservation, viz. Raphael, Parmigiano, Titian, P. Veronese, Bassan, Tintoret, O. Palma, L. da Vinci, Carracci, V. Castelli, Lucatelli, Canaletti, Borgognione, Claude, N. Poussin, Watteau, Rubens, Van Dyck, Teniers, Van Uden, P. Neefs, Quintus Matzius, W. Van de Velde, Van Harp, Cuyp, Vanderneer, Vangoyen, Polenberg, Wyck, Moucheron, P. Panini, Barrett, &c. Particularly, a most capital picture by D. Teniers of peasants shooting at a mark; diogenes in search after an honest man, by Jordaens; Cupids sporting at the Shrine of Venus, by Titian; a capital landscape by Claude; and a variety a cabinet pictures of the first class by the most favorite masters.
