What you’ll do

Come and listen to three speakers with diverse perspectives on our planet. Hear about space travel, experiences of migration, and consider how we can respond to the mental and physical challenges of life far from home.

Location

We’ll be in the Reading Room on level 2. You can walk up the spiral staircase to the Reading Room door, or take the lift up and then head left from the Library Desk.

Place not guaranteed

Booking a ticket for a free event does not guarantee you a place. You should aim to arrive 15 minutes before the event is scheduled to start to claim your place. If you do not arrive on time, your place may be given to someone on the waiting list.

About your speakers

Dr Ivana Rosenzweig

Dr Rosenzweig is a sleep physician and consultant. She is a neuropsychiatrist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Clinical Senior Lecturer in the neuroscience of sleep at the Head, Sleep and Brain Plasticity Centre at King’s College London.

Mahtab Hussain

British artist Mahtab Hussain (b. 1981) explores the important relationship between identity, heritage and displacement. His themes develop through long-term research, articulating a visual language that challenges the prevailing concepts of multiculturalism.

Dr Sarah Fine

Dr Sarah Fine is Senior Lecturer in philosophy at Kings College, London.
