What you’ll do

Take a 30-minute informal guided tour of the Library shelves. You’ll hear about the unusual and surprising contents, the ‘treasures’ and how it all works.

About your guide

Danny is the Library Engagement Officer and runs the Insights programme of public talks.

Where we’ll be

To attend, just turn up and meet your guide beside the Library entrance on Level 2. There is no need to book (though spaces are limited).

The tour will take place in the Library on Levels 2 and 3. Stairs are involved but a lift is available.

Part of Library Tours

Take a guided tour through one of the world’s most significant collections of works around health and the human condition. Surprising and unusual subjects occupy the shelves in a variety of languages, perspectives and formats. From coffee and ketchup to sex machines and poetry, it is all here.
