What you’ll do

Come and hear from Jack Hartnell in conversation with a facilitator about his beautiful new book exploring the body in the Middle Ages. There will be a chance to ask questions and see some fascinating images.

About your speakers

Jack Hartnell is Lecturer in Art History at the University of East Anglia and author of Medieval Bodies: Life, Death and Art in the Middle Ages (published this spring in association with Wellcome Collection). The discussion will be facilitated by literary critic Alexandra Harris.

Where we’ll be

We will be in the Henry Wellcome Auditorium on Level -1, which seats 150 people. Follow the signs down the stairs or take the lift.

We’ll be in the Henry Wellcome Auditorium. To get there, take the stairs or the lift down to level −1. The auditorium is fitted with a hearing loop.
