What you’ll do

Join Dr Marquard Smith for a tour of 'Somewhere in Between'. You'll hear his take on the future for human beings and non-human beings in these biomedical and bioinformational times and have an opportunity to ask questions.

About your guide

Marq is an academic, curator, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Visual Culture, Program Leader for the MA Museums & Galleries in Education at UCL Institute of Education, London, and Professor of Artistic Research at Vilnius Academy of Arts, Lithuania.

As a curator, Marq’s exhibitions include ‘Blood & Bones’ (The Street Gallery, UCLH, forthcoming 2018), ‘Solitary Pleasures’ (Freud Museum, 2018), ‘How to Construct a Time Machine’ (2014), and ‘How We Became Metadata’ (2010).

Where we’ll be

To attend, just turn up and meet your guide beside the Information Point on Level 0. There is no need to book (though spaces are limited).

The tour will take place in the 'Somewhere in Between' exhibition on Level 0.
