Prompted by the death of Sir Henry Wellcome, correspondence and reports providing financial details relating to the Wellcome Research Laboratories at Gordon Memorial College, Khartoum, and to physical resources at Jebel [Gebel] Moya.

copy letter (New York, 2 February, 1927) from Henry Wellcome to Major Uribe;
copy letter (Washington DC, 31 January, 1927) from Henry Wellcome to Sir John Maffey, Governor General, Khartoum, relating to "special licenses" to excavate.
