Collection of cookery and medical receipts, with a few household receipts: in English, by several hands. This MS. seems to have been begun as a collection of cookery receipts, and written c. 1700 or somewhat earlier: and 21 of the following 23 unpaginated leaves also contain similar entries. The medical receipts which start at the other end of the volume are by several 18th cent. hands down to perhaps c. 1775: there are also a few medical receipts of the first half of the 19th cent. Inscribed faintly on the outside of the lower cover 'Receipt[?] Book'.
