Covering his medical work, events, wildlife (notably crocodiles), colleagues, day-to-day activities in the hospital, his health, various medical cases, missionary and religious activities, general gossip, trips to Yalikina and the Bamboli Forest, the local people, contact with lepers, Christmas, transport. Also various copies of a typescript, dated May 1937, addressed 'Dear Boys and Girls' called Chapter 5 and also entitled "A hospital in the very heart of Africa" - [possibly for Drummond Road Baptist Church Sunday School back home in London or the younger members of the family back home]
