Contains a letter from L S Penrose asking how much grant a research student, Miss Mitwoch, would require and whether the Department of Biometry could assist Mittwoch and Dr Kalmus with their work on the genetics of fungi; and a letter in reply from Haldane making suggestions regarding size of grant, her status, particulars of her involvement in practicals and lectures, and agreeing to interview Miss Mitwoch.
