Research data from R. W. Smithells' clinical work on thalidomide children. Includes a summary diagnostic table of patients by name; patient lists with diagnostic information, dates of examination and state of report on them; listing of "cases with negative drug history, RWS gave unequivocal 'yes' to thalidomide"; listing of patients examined by Smithells recording the existence of photoes, x-rays, reports, thalidomide history, beneficiary status and opinion about etiology.

Further, listing of patients recording their legal representation, dates of clinical examination, report, fee billed and whether it had been received; and listing "Children malformed due to thalidomide", broken down by geographical area.
