About this work

Description

A terracotta sculpture of a boat, painted white, made by one of Rita Simon's patients under the pseudonym 'Pat.' It is reproduced and analysed in Rita Simon's book, Symbolic Images in Art as Therapy on pages 135-6, Figure 8.5.

The sculpture is very fragile, with some broken parts.

The title has been taken from Rita Simon's book, Symbolic Images in Art as Therapy.

Rita Simon classified this artwork as Traditional Linear.
