    tv. The Hijlory of a Cafe of Chorea, fuccefsfully treated by means of Camphor. By John Wilfon, M. D. Phyfician at Mansfeld, Not- £, tinghamjhire. ANN GASKILL, a poor girl, 15 year3 of age, after having been expofed to cold and wet weather, in Auguft 1786 was feized with irregular convullive motions of the right arm and leg. Thefe fymptoms gra- dually became more violent and extended. The mufcles of the trunk of the body were fimilarly affected; and the leg and arm of the left fide were frequently convulfed. Her head was repeatedly drawn afide; and on lifting any thing to her mouth, her arm was frequently and irregularly retraced. Her body was violently diftorted when fhe at- tempted to fpeak, and what fhe uttered was X 3. unintelligible.
