Four signed autograph letters by Wallace, plus a printed pamphlet..
No.1 is to the botanist and traveller Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker (1817-1911).
No.4 is to the chemist William Young, explaining that he will be happy to put his name to an anti-vaccination paper when he is able to verify the facts and figures for himself, dated 14 Jun 1884, and accompanies no.5, a printed copy of Wallace's paper The Army and Navy: A demonstration of the uselessness of vaccination, issued by the National Anti-Vaccination League (c.1898).
