Description

1967:
Amongst other reports there is a collection of Hong Kong, Dutch and British articles on a measles vaccine - Wellcovax (December 1967), a discussion piece on the British pharmaceutical industry (The Times, 28th April 1967) and further coverage of virus cultivation (Health, June1967).

1968:
A collection of articles from both local and national newspapers detailing the success of Septrin, a non-antibiotic drug developed by Burroughs-Wellcome for the treatment of bronchitis and other infections (October 1968). Several other articles which span across the year discuss the international response to a measles vaccine. Also contained is a transcript from the BBC European French Service about the drug A.L.S. which helps prevent the rejections of grafted tissue (August 1968, report available in both French and English).
