Pharmacology Lectures, 1954 to 1955

This file contains Vane's Yale university notebook titled, "Pharmacology Lectures Yale 1954 & 1955". Despite this title the first lecture notes in the book, are from a lecture taught by Welch, which is dated 6 January 1953 and there are further lecture notes from a series of lectures in January 1953. It is not clear whether Vane took a break from his Oxford studies in early 1953 to visit Yale before taking up a position at Yale later in 1953. Further lectures in the notebook are dated 1954 and the last dated lecture is from March 1955.

There are two loose sheets within the notebook. One sheet is a printed timetable of pharmacology lectures and laboratory sessions taught by various people and running from 11 March until 22 April (year not given). The second sheet is a handwritten note on barbiturates.
