Extracto de las Providencias dictadas por la Junta principal de Caridad, de que fue Presidente El ... Sr. Dr. D. Alonso Nuñez de Haro y Peralta .... Coleccion de los Oficios .... Estados que manifiestan sus piadosos efectos en la Epidemia de Viruelas que huvo en la Ciudad de Mexico el año de 1797. Produced in Mexico. Signed, with rubríca, by the Secretary to the Junta Principal, Luis Gonzaga de Ibarrola, also Escribano mayor to the Real Tribunal de Consulado of Mexico and its successor from at least 1790 to at least 1821. This concluding report of the Secretary, dated 28 April 1798, summarises the action undertaken to ameliorate the effects of the great smallpox epidemic of New Spain 1797-98, from the confidential Viceregal circular of 28 February 1797 [see M.150] to the financial report by the Treasurer, Antonio Basoco [used by Cooper (1965), pp. 149-152], and the apportioned return of the remaining relief money to the original contributors.
