The number of Patients on the books on the 30th September last was :— Males.312 Females.435 This number is divided as follows From Brighton Union.590 From the part of Steyning Union within the County Borough . . 64 Out County.65 Private.28 In addition to the above are five imbecile children placed under contract in Hellingly Asylum. The general health of the Patients and Staff has been good.
