Diary/scrapbook containing Bonté Elgood's handwritten diary notes, photographs, letters and cuttings dating from 06/01/1930 to 19/08/56, just before her departure prompted by the Suez Crisis. Dedicated to her niece Mrs Margaret Legg. Very rich in detail on colonial social life in Egypt during the early part of century.
