Biographical note
Sidney Daukes worked at the Leeds Military School of Hygiene prior to becoming Director of the Medical Museum. He had developed a revolutionary visual teaching method that he implemented in the museum's new displays when it re-opened in 1926. He published on the subject in 1929, and worked at the museum for over 20 years.
