Biographical note

Mr Oshin was, by his own claim, the first West African to qualify as a Chartered Physiotherapist. He was admitted to Field and Morris School of Physiotherapy in Peto Place, London in 1950, and passed his Final Examination in 1954. He later started the BSc (Physiotherapy) Degree at the University College Ibadan and founded the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy in 1959.
