About this work

Description

The Names of those Members of the Royal College of Surgeons, not resident in London or Westminster, who returned Answers to their Enquiries respecting Vaccination: with the Places of their Residence and the Number stated to have been Vaccinated by them. No date is given in the MS., but it seems probable that this list was made at the end of 1806 or the beginning of 1807. It was compiled in response to the Enquiries on Vaccination the College had been directed to make, as a result of the Resolution carried unanimously in the House of Commons in July 1806. Produced in London.
