About this work

Description

Institutionum medicarum enchiridion. Ante praxeos tractatus (De pathologia). De methodo medendi. A student's notes of lectures, probably at an Italian university [Naples?]. The first part deals with anatomy and physiology, the second with general pathology, and the third with therapeutics. The name 'Eligio Malitia' is written twice on the first page of text, but is probably the name of the writer, and not that of the author of the lectures, who has not been identified. In MS. 2998 [Institutiones mechanicae] the text of the anatomical section is very similar. Produced in Naples?
