Photograph of a framed oil painting by a Flemish painter, ca. 1640, depicting a crowd watching charlatan doctors on a stage outside an inn. A caption attached to the frame titles the work 'The Charlatans' and attributes the work to an unidentified Spanish painter, likely for display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The painting was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 10th January 1940 (P66/1940). Related images: V0017577, L0086044
