Description

1 artwork identified by Rita Simon's pseudonym "Tuberculosis Patient 12 - Mrs Bird" which shows a series of blue dabs of paint running across the surface of the paper. Rita Simon said: "The wheelchair patients had the landscape (i.e. horizontal) format imposed on them, as the paper was placed on a horizontal tray."

The quote above is taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.
