Description

Unbalanced Robertsonian translocation 46,XY,5(14;21). This male has a chromosomal disorder. Part of a chromosome 21 has become attached to a chromosome 14. As he also has two intact chromosome 21s, the cell contains a surplus of genetic information, and the translocation is said to be unbalanced.
