Typed extract, signed by Shaw, of a letter in which he denies ever contributing to a chain letter currently in circulation, with covering note stating that it is to go into Sir Henry Wellcome's collection (no. 21); copy of the chain letter to which Shaw was alleged to have contributed, with covering letter from Robert Mond (another recipient) sending it to the Royal Anthropological Institute (who forwarded it to the Folklore Society) (no. 22).
