Description

Arrested development of 'speech-centres'--aphasia, word-blindness, word-deafness--speech defects in children and adults, such as stammering, infantile speech in adults, 'marrowskying' etc. Lisping and sigmatism see especially First Series for 'Palilalia' etc. 'Mirror-writing' in imbecile and other children and adults. Also 'falso' (pseudo-) mirror-writing. Development of speech and of sight--for comparison. 'Oesophagal speech' (after laryngectomy) for comparison
