About this work
Description
A painting by Geriatric/Physical illness patient 13 "Bridie" depicting a house. "She wanted to draw her own house, but she couldn't because of the circular movements of her hands, so I drew a pink rectangle for her but it didn't help, so I put my own hand under hers to enable her to draw the rest". (RMS)
The title has been taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.
The date is taken from other dated artworks by this patient.
